]]>Carpet repair services are an art that cannot be performed from watching videos on Youtube, taking a 2 day seminar performed by a teacher that has vast experience to the carpet cleaning industry for certification purposes because of attendance or watching somebody like myself do a carpet repair because I make it look easy! π
Be warned that not all carpet repairΒ services are created equal. For instance, every time somebody offers advice on how to fix a burn hole on a carpet on Youtube, usually it is somebody with an idea that they have tried and are happy with the result because they saved the cost of calling a professional to do the job.
Take A Close Look At The Carpet Repair Services. Tell me that these aren’t perfect repairs π
Don’t get me wrong! I am all about saving money and helping others. I recommend to everybody not to buy Berber Style carpets because I want you to save money. The fact is I do soooo many berber carpet repair services because it runs like a woollen sweater or nylon stocking.
It’s called zippering and likes to fall apart at the seams, edges of stairs where the carpet is wrapped around the posts. Pets make a large mess when it comes to their sharp nails catching the berber pile and it starts unthreading. Vacuum cleaning power heads also catch just a small fibre and it runs a few feet quickly because of the brush/beater bar is aggressive on berber style carpets.

A lot of demos online show a long pile carpet where even a 5th grader can manipulate a few fibres cut from a carpet and then glue them Β in to mask the small carpet burn that is generally demonstrated on Youtube to fix that cigarette burn.
So stay away from low profile carpets, even good carpet installers have difficulty just putting two straight edges of the carpet together and making that perfect seam. I receive calls from carpet installers asking how I fixed the seam that they did well but to their clients eyes was not good enough. There are techniques to properly repairing and making joins in carpet.
Designs are quite frequented in the Berber Style carpets and imagine lining up 4 corners and 4 sides to a repair for accuracy and on top of that, the design has to line up on a Berber Style carpet within that piece that you have prepared for the insert.
So be my guest if you are looking for a quality carpet repair and wanting to try and do the repair yourself!
And watch for the carpet cleaning industry sending the 2 day seminar experts with an attendance certification justifying their expertise because of a certification and not an actual “qualification”
